Classes & Booking
Browse your gym's schedule, book classes and private sessions, and manage all your reservations from one place.
Schedule Tab
The Schedule tab is your hub for finding and booking activities. It has tabs for different activity types:

| Classes | Group fitness classes |
| Private Sessions | One-on-one appointments with trainers |
| Events | Special events and workshops (if enabled) |
Browsing Classes
Calendar View
- Tap the Schedule tab at the bottom
- The Classes tab is selected by default
- Use the expandable calendar at the top to navigate dates
Calendar features:
- Dots under dates indicate classes are available
- Tap any date to see that day's classes
- Swipe left/right to change weeks
- Tap the calendar header to expand/collapse the month view

Class List
Below the calendar, you'll see classes for the selected date:
- Class name and type
- Start time
- Duration
- Coach name
- Available spots
- Your reservation status (if applicable)

Filtering Classes
Tap the filter button (sliders icon) in the top-right to filter by:
- Class type: Show only specific class types (e.g., Yoga, HIIT, Spinning)
Class Details
Tap any class to view its details:
Header Information
- Class name with status badge
- Date and time
- Duration
- Class image (if available)
Action Buttons
Depending on your booking status, you'll see different actions:

Class Information
- Coach: Name and photo of the instructor
- Status: Current booking status
- Reservation opens: When booking becomes available
- Reservation closes: Deadline to book
- Late cancellation rule: Penalties for late cancels
- Free session: Whether the class counts against your visits
- Attendance limit: Current spots taken vs. capacity
Calendar Integration
If you have a reservation:
- Add to Calendar: Sync with your phone's calendar
- View in Calendar: Open the event in your calendar app
- Remove from Calendar: Delete the calendar event

Making a Class Reservation
Prerequisites
To book a class, you need:
- An active membership plan
- A plan that includes the class type
- Available visits remaining (if limited)
Booking Steps
- Find and tap the class you want
- Tap the Reserve button
- If you have multiple eligible memberships, select which one to use
- Receive confirmation that you're booked
Membership Selection
If you have multiple active memberships, you'll see a list showing:
- Membership name
- Remaining visits (e.g., "Gold Plan (5 left)" or "Unlimited Plan")
Select the membership you want to use for this booking.

Canceling Reservations
How to Cancel
- Go to the class detail screen
- Tap Cancel Reservation
- Confirm the cancellation
Late Cancellation
Be aware of late cancellation policies:
- Canceling close to class time may count as a used visit
- Some gyms charge fees for late cancels
- The class detail shows the late cancellation window
Check-In from the App
Self Check-In
If your gym allows app check-in:
- Open your reserved class
- When check-in window opens, tap Check In
- Receive confirmation
Check-In Windows
- Check-in typically opens shortly before class
- The exact timing depends on your gym's settings
- You'll see when check-in becomes available
Checking Out
After class:
- Open the class detail
- Tap Check Out
- Your session duration is recorded
Private Sessions (Appointments)
Browsing Sessions
- In the Schedule tab, tap Private Sessions
- Browse available appointment types
- See which trainers offer each service
Session Details
Each private session shows:
- Name: Type of session
- Duration: How long the session lasts
- Description: What to expect
- Trainers: Available staff
- Drop-in options: Pay-as-you-go pricing if available
Booking Rules
- Minimum booking notice: How far in advance you must book
- Late cancellation window: Deadline for free cancellation
Making a Reservation
- Tap on a private session type
- Tap Reserve
- Select your preferred:
- Trainer/staff member
- Date
- Time slot
- Choose membership (if required) or pay drop-in price
- Confirm your booking

Reservations Tab
The Reservations tab shows all your upcoming bookings in one place.
Viewing Reservations
- Tap the Reservations tab at the bottom
- See your bookings on a calendar view
- Dates with bookings are marked with dots
- Select a date to see that day's reservations

Reservation Types
Your reservations are color-coded or labeled by type:
- Class Reservations: Group fitness classes
- Appointment Reservations: Private sessions
- Event Reservations: Special events (if enabled)
Managing Reservations
Tap any reservation to:
- View full details
- Check in (if available)
- Cancel the booking
- Add to calendar
Understanding Status Badges
Throughout the app, you'll see status badges on classes:
| Badge | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Available | Open for booking |
| Reserved | You have a reservation |
| Can Check In | Check-in window is open |
| Checked In | You've checked in |
| Completed | Class has ended |
| Full | No spots available |
| Waitlist | On the waiting list |
| Cancelled | Class was cancelled |
| Past | Class time has passed |
Tips for Booking
Get Spots in Popular Classes
- Book early: Reserve as soon as booking opens
- Set reminders: Know when booking opens for your favorite classes
- Check regularly: Spots may open if others cancel
Manage Your Schedule
- Use the Reservations tab: See all upcoming bookings at a glance
- Add to calendar: Sync with your phone calendar for reminders
- Cancel early: Free up spots for others if you can't attend
Avoid Late Cancellation Fees
- Know your gym's cancellation policy
- Check the late cancellation window before booking
- Cancel in advance if plans change
Troubleshooting
Can't Book a Class
No eligible membership:
- Your current plan may not include this class type
- Check your membership details
- Consider upgrading or purchasing additional access
No visits remaining:
- You've used all allocated visits for this period
- Wait for the next billing cycle
- Upgrade to unlimited plan
Booking closed:
- The reservation window has closed
- Booking may open at a certain time before class
- Try booking earlier next time
Class Not Showing
- Pull to refresh the schedule
- Check the date - make sure you're looking at the right day
- Check filters - clear any class type filters
- Ask your gym - the class may be cancelled or rescheduled
Can't Check In
- Check-in window may not be open yet
- Verify you have an active reservation
- Try using your QR code at the gym
