QR Code & Check-In
Your personal QR code is the fastest way to check in at your gym. This guide covers accessing your QR code, check-in methods, and viewing your attendance history.
Accessing Your QR Code
From the Home Screen
- Tap the QR Code circle button at the top of the Home screen
- Your QR code appears full-screen for easy scanning
From the Menu
- Tap the Menu tab
- Tap QR Code at the top of the Profile section
- Your QR code displays with your PIN backup code
Understanding Your QR Code
What's in the QR Code
Your QR code contains:
- Your gym's identifier
- Your unique member ID
This information is encoded securely so only your gym's scanner can read it.
PIN Code Backup
Below your QR code, you'll see a PIN code. This is your backup check-in method if:
- The QR scanner isn't working
- Your phone screen is cracked or dim
- The scanner can't read your code
Simply tell the staff your PIN code for manual check-in.

Check-In Methods
QR Code Scan (Primary)
- Open the app before arriving at the gym
- Navigate to your QR code screen
- Hold your phone up to the scanner
- Wait for the confirmation beep or message
- You're checked in!
Tips for successful scanning:
- Increase screen brightness
- Hold phone steady, about 6 inches from scanner
- Ensure the entire QR code is visible
- Clean your screen if needed
PIN Code (Backup)
If QR scanning isn't working:
- Tell the front desk staff your PIN code
- They'll enter it in the system
- You're checked in manually
Staff-Assisted Check-In
Staff can check you in directly:
- Give your name or show ID
- Staff finds your profile in the system
- They mark your attendance manually
What Happens When You Check In
Check-In Validation
The system verifies:

| Active Membership | Confirms you have a valid membership |
| Access Rights | Checks if your plan includes current time/day access |
| Class Booking | Links check-in to your reserved class (if applicable) |
| Attendance Limit | Verifies you haven't exceeded visit limits |
Successful Check-In
When check-in succeeds:
- You hear a confirmation sound
- The screen shows a green checkmark
- Your visit is recorded in the system
- If you have a class reservation, attendance is marked

Check-In Issues
If check-in fails, you may see:

| No Active Membership | Your plan expired or isn't active | Speak to staff about renewing |
| Outside Access Hours | Your plan doesn't cover this time | Check your membership access times |
| Visit Limit Reached | You've used all visits for the period | Wait for next billing period or upgrade |
| Already Checked In | You already checked in today | No action needed |
Viewing Your Attendance History
Accessing Attendance History
- Tap the Menu tab
- Tap Attendances in the Profile section
- View your complete check-in history
Understanding the Attendance Screen
Date Filter
At the top, you'll find date pickers:
- From: Start date for the history view
- To: End date (defaults to today)
By default, the screen shows the last 30 days of activity.
Attendance List
Your check-ins are grouped by date, showing:
- Date heading (e.g., "Monday 15 January 2024")
- Individual check-in entries below each date
Each entry displays:
- Check-in time
- Type of attendance (open gym, class, appointment)
- Class or appointment name (if applicable)

Filtering Attendance
To view a specific period:
- Tap the From date field
- Select your start date
- Tap the To date field
- Select your end date
- The list updates automatically
Attendance Details
Tap any attendance entry to see more details:

| Check-in Time | When you arrived |
| Check-out Time | When you left (if tracked) |
| Duration | How long you stayed |
| Type | Open gym, class, or appointment |
| Activity | Specific class or session name |

Multiple Memberships
If you have multiple active memberships:
Check-In Selection
When you check in, the system may:
- Automatically select the appropriate membership
- Ask you to choose which membership to use
Viewing by Membership
Your attendance history shows which membership was used for each visit.
Troubleshooting
QR Code Not Scanning
Screen too dim:
- Increase brightness to maximum
- Turn off auto-brightness temporarily
- Move away from direct sunlight
Code not visible:
- Clean your phone screen
- Remove screen protector bubbles
- Try a different angle
Scanner issues:
- Ask staff to restart the scanner
- Use PIN code as backup
- Request manual check-in
Missing Attendance Records
If a visit doesn't appear in your history:
- Pull down to refresh the screen
- Check the date filter range
- The visit may not have been recorded properly
- Contact the front desk to verify
Can't Access QR Code
If the QR code screen won't load:
- Check your internet connection
- Close and reopen the app
- Log out and log back in
- Update to the latest app version
Tips for Smooth Check-Ins
Before You Arrive
- Open the app early - Load your QR code before you get to the gym
- Check brightness - Set screen brightness high
- Have PIN ready - Remember your backup PIN
At the Gym
- Show full QR code - Don't let the scanner see only part of it
- Hold steady - Keep your phone still while scanning
- Wait for confirmation - Don't walk away until you hear/see the confirmation
Track Your Progress
- Review weekly - Check your attendance patterns
- Set goals - Aim for consistent visit frequency
- Monitor trends - See how your attendance changes over time
