Memberships & Invoices

Manage your gym memberships, track your usage and billing, purchase new plans, and pay invoices directly from the app.


Viewing Your Memberships

Accessing Memberships

  1. Tap the Menu tab
  2. Tap Memberships in the Profile section
  3. See all your current and past memberships

Membership List

Each membership shows:

  • Plan name: Name of your membership
  • Status: Active, Inactive, or Frozen
  • Date range: Start date and end date (or "Ongoing" for unlimited)
  • Plan type icon: Recurring, non-recurring, or punchcard

Membership Details

Tap any membership to view full details.

Status Section

At the top, you'll see:

  • Status icon: Green (active), blue (frozen), or gray (inactive)
  • Plan name
  • Plan type: Recurring, non-recurring, punchcard
  • Status and date range
  • Cancellation date (if scheduled)

Frozen Status

If your membership is frozen:

  • Blue banner shows freeze dates
  • Frozen since: When the freeze started
  • Scheduled unfreeze: When it will resume (if set)
  • Reason: Why it was frozen (if provided)

Usage & Check-ins

Plan Benefits

Shows what your membership includes:

  • Valid class types
  • Valid appointment types
  • Access restrictions
  • Other plan features

Metadata

  • Created On: When membership was assigned
  • Assigned By: Staff member who set it up

Canceling a Membership

When You Can Cancel

You can cancel if:

  • Your membership is a recurring plan
  • It's currently active
  • It hasn't already been scheduled for cancellation

How to Cancel

  1. Open the membership you want to cancel
  2. Scroll to the bottom
  3. Tap the red Cancel button
  4. Review the cancellation notice
  5. Tap Cancel membership anyway to confirm

What Happens After

  • Your membership stays active until the end of the billing period
  • No more payments will be charged
  • The cancellation date appears in the status section
  • This action cannot be undone

Buying a New Membership

Accessing Available Plans

  1. Go to Menu → Memberships
  2. Tap the shopping bag button (bottom right)
  3. Browse available membership plans

Plan Information

Each plan shows:

  • Name
  • Price: Amount and currency
  • Type icon: Recurring, non-recurring, or punchcard

Purchase Process

  1. Tap the plan you want
  2. Review plan details in the popup
  3. Select payment method (if required)
  4. Complete the Stripe checkout
  5. Your new membership is activated

Payment Methods

  • Credit/Debit card: Processed securely via Stripe
  • Saved cards: Use a card on file if available

Invoices

Accessing Invoices

  1. Tap the Menu tab
  2. Tap Invoices in the Profile section
  3. Switch between Open and Paid tabs

Invoice List

Invoices are grouped by date and show:

  • Invoice number
  • Total amount
  • Status (Open/Paid)
  • Date issued or paid

Status Section

  • Status icon: Green (paid), orange (open), or yellow (refunded)
  • Invoice number
  • Total amount
  • Date: Paid, issued, or refunded date

Each line item shows:

  • Item name (membership, product, appointment)
  • Quantity and unit price

Paying an Invoice

Online Payment

If your gym accepts card payments:

  1. Open the invoice
  2. Tap Pay Invoice
  3. Complete the Stripe payment form
  4. Enter card details or use saved card
  5. Confirm payment
  6. Receive confirmation

If Online Payments Unavailable

You'll see a warning message:

"Online payments are currently unavailable. Please contact the gym to pay this invoice."

Contact your gym to pay in person.

Downloading Receipts

After payment:

  1. Open the paid invoice
  2. Tap Download
  3. View the PDF
  4. Share or save as needed

Understanding Invoice Items

Invoices can include different item types:

Quick Access from Home

Open Invoices Widget

The Home screen shows:

  • Number of open invoices
  • Quick access to pay outstanding balances

Tap to go directly to your invoices.

QR Code Menu

From the Menu screen:

  • Invoices link shows paid/unpaid invoices

Troubleshooting

Can't Pay Invoice

Card declined:

  • Verify card details are correct
  • Check sufficient funds
  • Try a different card

Payment not available:

  • The gym may not accept online payments
  • Contact the gym to pay in person

Missing Membership

  • Pull down to refresh
  • Check if it's expired (shown as inactive)
  • Contact your gym if it should be active

Usage Not Updating

  • Usage updates after check-in is recorded
  • Pull down to refresh the screen
  • Contact the gym if counts seem wrong

Wrong Invoice Amount

  • Review the invoice items breakdown
  • Check if discounts were applied
  • Contact your gym for billing questions

Tips

Managing Payments

  • Set up card on file: Enable auto-payments for recurring memberships
  • Pay early: Avoid late fees by paying invoices promptly
  • Download receipts: Keep copies for expense tracking

Tracking Usage

  • Check remaining visits before booking
  • Know when your usage resets
  • Upgrade if you're frequently running out

Multiple Memberships

  • You can have multiple active memberships
  • Each has its own usage tracking
  • Choose which to use when booking
