Find or delete a check-in

See who came in and when, and remove a check-in recorded by mistake.

Check-ins lists every visit: who came in, when, for which class or appointment, on which membership, and who checked them in. Delete a check-in that was recorded by mistake, such as a double scan or the wrong member.

Before you start

You need the Check-ins permission. The Owner, Managers and Front desk have it. Coaches can delete only check-ins to their own classes and appointments.

Find a check-in

  1. Open Check-ins. It shows today's check-ins.
  2. Change the Date range, or narrow the list with Member and Type (Classes, Appointments, Self check-ins). More filters adds Staff, Membership plan, Class type and Appointment type.

A member's own check-ins are on their profile, on the Attendance & bookings tab.

Delete a check-in

  1. Find it on Check-ins, or on the member's Attendance & bookings tab.
  2. In its row, click ⋯, then Delete check-in.
  3. Click Delete to confirm.

What happens next

  • The visit no longer counts. A facility check-in on a limited plan or a punchcard gives the visit back.
  • A class or appointment booking behind the check-in stays, so the right member can be checked in to it again. Once the session has ended, it reads as a no-show.
  • The member's Activity keeps a line saying their check-in was removed, and by whom.

Good to know

  • Self check-ins are facility check-ins, whether made by the member at the kiosk or by staff.
  • The Staff column shows who checked the member in. Check-ins at the kiosk show the staff member whose account runs it.
  • To cancel a booking rather than a check-in, see Bookings and waitlists.
