Connect other apps with Zapier
Send new members, memberships, bookings and leads to thousands of other apps, and bring leads and members in.
Zapier connects Finegym to thousands of other apps without any code. A "Zap" starts when something happens in one app and does something in another: a new Finegym member is added to your mailing list, or a lead from a Facebook ad lands in Finegym.
Before you start
- Your business is on the Starter plan or above, and you have the Settings permission. The Owner and Managers have it.
- You need a Zapier account. Zapier's own plan decides how many Zaps and steps you can run.
Connect Zapier
-
Open Integrations and click Connect next to Zapier. Finegym opens Finegym's page on Zapier.

-
On Zapier, sign in and create a Zap that uses Finegym as its trigger or one of its actions. This step happens on Zapier.
-
When Zapier asks you to connect your Finegym account, sign in with your Finegym staff email and password, and click Authorize. Only staff can authorize it.
-
Back in Finegym, the Zapier card shows Connected.
What a Zap can do with Finegym
| Starts a Zap when | Does in Finegym |
|---|---|
| A member is created or updated | Create or update a member |
| A membership is created or canceled | Find a member |
| A member books a class, or a class booking is canceled | Create a lead |
| A lead is created | Add a note to a member |
For example: send every new lead to a Google Sheet, add new members to Mailchimp, or bring leads from your ads into Finegym (see Track leads).
What happens next
Your Zaps run on their own from then on. What they do in Finegym appears as if done there: a member a Zap creates gets the same welcome email as any new member, if that email is on in Email templates.
Good to know
- Once connected, the Zapier card has Options: Go to Zapier opens your Zaps, and Revoke access disconnects Finegym. Your Zaps stop working until you connect again.
- Zaps are set up, switched on and off, and fixed on Zapier, not in Finegym.
