Edit or archive a plan
Change a plan's price and settings, or stop selling it while its members keep their memberships.
Edit a plan to change its price, description, limits or where it's sold. Archive it when you stop selling it: the members who hold it keep their memberships.
Before you start
You need the Plans and products permission. The Owner and Managers have it. Other staff see a plan's page but can't change it.
Edit a plan
- In Plans, click the plan's name. Its settings are on the Overview tab.
- Change what you need.
- Click Save changes.
On a recurring plan, the billing fields (Recurring interval type, Recurring interval, Billing day option, Set day) and the commitment are greyed out: they can't change once the plan is created, because members bought it on those terms. To sell different terms, create a new plan and archive this one.
A new Charge amount also applies to members who already hold the plan, from their next renewal. To keep their price, create a new plan at the new price instead and archive this one.
Archive or delete a plan
- Open the plan and click Actions at the top right.
- Click Archive. It happens at once; Undo in the message that appears takes it back.

Delete plan is in the same menu only while nobody has ever held the plan. Once anyone has, the plan can be archived but not deleted.
What happens next
- An archived plan can't be bought, assigned or switched to. It leaves the member app, your website and the front desk kiosk, and the plans list shows it as Archived.
- Members who hold it keep their memberships, and recurring ones keep renewing at the plan's price. To end them, cancel the memberships.
- To sell it again, open it and click Actions, then Unarchive.
Good to know
- A new Setup fee applies only to new sales: it's charged once, when a member joins.
- On a punchcard, a new number of Visits included also changes the visits left on punchcards members already hold.
- Download memberships in the Actions menu downloads a CSV file of the plan's members. It needs the Members permission.
