Twilio SMS & WhatsApp Integration
Location: Settings → Integrations → Twilio
Connect your Twilio account to send SMS and WhatsApp messages to members (e.g., appointment reminders, invoice notifications).
Configuration Fields
- Account SID — Your Twilio account identifier
- Auth Token — Your Twilio authentication token (leave blank to keep existing token)
- SMS Phone Number — Your Twilio phone number for sending SMS
- WhatsApp Phone Number — Your WhatsApp Business number registered with Twilio
- Enable SMS — Toggle to enable SMS messaging
- Enable WhatsApp — Toggle to enable WhatsApp messaging
note
If both SMS and WhatsApp are enabled, SMS will be used as the primary channel.
Status
- Connected badge appears when Twilio is configured
- Disconnect button is available to remove the integration
Setting Up Twilio
- Create a Twilio account at twilio.com
- Get your Account SID and Auth Token from the Twilio console
- Purchase a phone number in Twilio
- Enter credentials in Finegym and click Save Settings
Troubleshooting
Messages Not Sending:
- Verify credentials are correct
- Check phone number format (E.164 format, e.g., +15551234567)
- Confirm Twilio account has credit
- Verify phone number is enabled for the region
