Twilio SMS & WhatsApp Integration

Location: Settings → Integrations → Twilio

Connect your Twilio account to send SMS and WhatsApp messages to members (e.g., appointment reminders, invoice notifications).

Configuration Fields

  • Account SID — Your Twilio account identifier
  • Auth Token — Your Twilio authentication token (leave blank to keep existing token)
  • SMS Phone Number — Your Twilio phone number for sending SMS
  • WhatsApp Phone Number — Your WhatsApp Business number registered with Twilio
  • Enable SMS — Toggle to enable SMS messaging
  • Enable WhatsApp — Toggle to enable WhatsApp messaging
note

If both SMS and WhatsApp are enabled, SMS will be used as the primary channel.

Status

  • Connected badge appears when Twilio is configured
  • Disconnect button is available to remove the integration

Setting Up Twilio

  1. Create a Twilio account at twilio.com
  2. Get your Account SID and Auth Token from the Twilio console
  3. Purchase a phone number in Twilio
  4. Enter credentials in Finegym and click Save Settings

Troubleshooting

Messages Not Sending:

  • Verify credentials are correct
  • Check phone number format (E.164 format, e.g., +15551234567)
  • Confirm Twilio account has credit
  • Verify phone number is enabled for the region
